Sound revolution for your flat-screen TV
Cinebar® 50
A new flat-screen TV has several advantages – good sound quality, however, is not one of them. This is where Cinebar 50 enters the picture. This loudspeaker unit will catapult the otherwise flimsy sound of modern flat-screen TVs to a higher level, significantly improving reproduction of dialogs, dynamics, volume, and spatial acoustics.
All-in-one system
However, the Cinebar 50 is a thousand times more than just the best TV speaker around; it also represents a complete virtual surround-sound system capable of DVD, Blu-ray, satellite/premiere/DVB-T-decoder playback, and much more... in stereo or spatial sound, thanks to the Dolby virtual speaker technology.
Spatial sound from a single loudspeaker
The Dolby virtual speaker algorithms developed after extensive research in acoustics analyse and process sound signatures of a tone signal, thus driving the built-in speaker chassis. The result: an astonishing impression of spatial sound, closely replicating the standard five-speaker surround-sound arrangement.
Sound bar plus woofer
Cinebar 50 consists of two components – a slim speaker bar and an external subwoofer. There are six individual chassis in the main unit, which house the entire control and connector mechanisms, as well as an amplifier featuring 2 x 100-watt RMS power. The subwoofer uses its own amplifier to supply the bass-hungry 250-mm chassis with an additional 150-watt RMS.
Plug-and-play
The Cinebar 50 is ready ‘out-of-the-box.’ It does not require use of wall reflections, and is therefore well suited to rooms up to 35 sq.m. You will get a dynamic spatial sound without having to measure the room or requiring an elaborate setup.
Separate woofer box
The Cinebar 50 bar is, like any other sound bar on the market, still limited by their physical dimensions as to how much deep bass tones they can produce, despite all the most up-to-date technology employed in their engineering. This is why Teufel has combined this sound bar with a precision-calibrated, external subwoofer. It can be placed anywhere in the room and is the cause of that bass effect you can feel at the pit of your stomach, right down to 35 Hz, unleashing that true home cinema experience.
Five inputs
Four devices can be hooked up to your Cinebar 50 set over the two digital and analogue connectors on the back of the sound bar. Such devices can range from a television set, Sat/DVB-T/cable receiver, DVD player/recorder, PlayStation, XBox, Wii, media drives, MP3 player, video recorder, or a computer.
An additional USB input is located at the front of the speaker for playback of MP3 or WMA files.
Remote control
The Cinebar 50 set comes with a user-friendly, ergonomic remote control, allowing easy access to the most important control functions. The status of your remote control can be easily read on the sound bar panel.
Wall or shelf assembly
The main unit of the Cinebar 50 set comes with two rear mounting brackets which allow you to mount the speaker directly to the wall. An additional table stand is included in the shipment for placement on TV furniture or a shelf.
Integrated system without compromising on sound
A Cinebar 50 ensemble represents the simplest way to upgrade your flat-screen sound without having to assemble an entire loudspeaker system and its electronics in your living room.
